A favorite Christmas time event is Wild Lights St Louis Zoo. This event has been going on for many years and has become a part of our Christmas routine. There seems to be magic in the air with the evening sky being illuminated by a symphony of colors and bright lights.

The Wild Lights St Louis Zoo event is an opportunity to experience the warmth and brilliance of the Wild Lights event. This annual event, celebrated during the holiday season, turns the zoo into a winter wonderland, a magical atmosphere for families, friends, and visitors of all ages.
There are many themed areas, each with spectacular displays that offer a touch of holiday magic. Visitors can enjoy live performances, festive music and meet Santa. There are many interactive exhibits, creating an immersive experience for all.
Good to Know
Wild Lights St Louis Zoo is an outdoor event, so good to dress appropriately. We were fortunate that the evening we were there, while cool, the weather was reasonable for wintertime.
There are a couple of shops throughout the zoo where souvenirs may be purchased and a Gift Shop near the South entrance. For information on tickets and visiting the zoo, you can check out their website here.
We like to park at the South entrance. You can then walk across the bridge and are able to enter the zoo. There is a charge for the event.
We enjoy meandering throughout the zoo and looking at the exhibits while enjoying the holiday lights and fun atmosphere.
Wild Lights St Louis Zoo is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the ambiance of the Christmas season. While this event is a part of our yearly routine, we also enjoy visiting at different times of the year as the St Louis Zoo is one of the best zoos in our country and it is always fun to visit.
