The Santa Fe area is rich with culture and artwork and always an enjoyable experience. We generally stay at a hotel a few miles away that is central to the different areas we plan to visit. We had stopped at a Wendy’s close to our hotel when we noticed a tall sculpture. Upon getting a little closer, it turned out to be a Robot expanding high into the sky. The parking lot was full of vehicles. Then we noticed there were a couple of other sculptures, a Wolf, and a Spider. We decided the business, Meow Wolf, was worth a visit to see what they were about, especially since there were people entering and exiting the building frequently.

A World of Creativity and Mystery
When we walked in, we were greeted by a darkened house, and the exploration began. We roamed from room to room, immersed in the vibrant colors, exploring, opening different doors to secret passages to see what we might find. It was a labyrinth, and each room had its own uniqueness. We wandered and explored. We were in awe of the colorful imagination.

About Meow Wolf
The House of Eternal Return, an exhibit within Meow Wolf features over 70 rooms made by local and community artists and is a testament to creativity and imagination. Many of the rooms have recycled items, a plus for our environment.

There is a gift shop, snack area and restrooms. It is a good idea to check their website as they sometimes have special events and may be closed. We were fortunate enough to be able to purchase tickets at the door though.

Meow Wolf offers a vibrant and interesting experience, regardless of your age; it is a haven that invites you to detach from your everyday realm into a kaleidoscope of a fantasy experience. For those who love adventure and having fun, Meow Wolf is a definite place to visit.
